It’s unfortunate, certainly, that your connecting flight was missed, but I wsn’t terribly surprised to hear it, with how massively large Atlanta’s airport is! It’s worse than Chicago’s O’Hare airport to navigate around. I was through it (Atlanta) a year ago on my way to Florida and I walked what seemed like an hour to get my connecting flight, and it was with the same airline! I chose not to take the speedier way from one concourse to another (via the train) because the only seats left were such that I would have to ride backwards, with which I tend to get motion sick. I guess for all of you that it would be safe to stop and get something to eat if your layover between flights was at least an hr. and a half or so.
